Viva Aerobus registers growth in passenger transport despite COVID-19.

Viva Aerobus achieved a 1% growth that kept the airline ‘flat’ during the first month of the health contingency produced by COVID-19, which has caused a contraction in flight reservations worldwide.

The low-cost Mexican airline reported the movement of 849, 929 passengers during the month of March, a minimal advance compared to that registered in the same month of the previous year, but which, in a difficult scenario due to the reduction in flights, places Viva as one of the growing airlines.

“At Viva Aerobus we face the COVID-19 pandemic from a financially strong position, making operation adjustments in order to adapt to the current demand,” said Juan Carlos Zuazua, general director of the airline.
