The vaccine that China is experimenting on will be tested in 15,000 volunteers from 13 states, the first of them Oaxaca, sources from the health ministry indicated.

On October 30th, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador announced that the first doses had been received to carry out phase three of the clinical trials of the formula developed by the CanSino Biologics laboratory in Mexico.

This operation is headed by the Osmo Network, a research clinic that conducts studies in a standardized way, thanks to the implementation of a quality management system based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard, with subsidiaries in the cities of Aguascalientes and Cancun, where clinical trials will also be conducted.

To recruit the volunteers, a call was launched for people over 18 years of age, originally from the city of Oaxaca or nearby municipalities, without chronic degenerative diseases; women should not be pregnant or breastfeeding.

In a second phase, the trials will be extended to people at high risk.

The trial includes the application of a single dose and the tests will begin on the first 10 volunteers on Friday.
